This Privacy Policy describes how BrainX ("BrainX", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use the BrainX learning platform — including our website at learnwithbrainx.com and the BrainX mobile application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this policy.
BrainX is an online learning management platform that connects students, parents and teachers for live online classes, assessments, homework and progress tracking. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@learnwithbrainx.com.
The BrainX mobile app requests these permissions, only for the purposes below:
You can revoke any permission in your device settings; related features will stop working but the rest of the app remains usable.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
BrainX is designed for school students and is used with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Student accounts are created through enrolment with parental consent. We collect from students only the information needed to deliver classes and track learning, we never sell it, and we do not show third-party advertising to students. A parent or guardian may review or request deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting info@learnwithbrainx.com.
Information is shared only with service providers that help us run the Service, under their own safeguards:
Within the platform, your name and profile photo are visible to members of your classes (e.g. in group chat and read receipts). Teachers and school administrators can see the learning data of their own students. We may disclose information if required by law.
BrainX uses the YouTube API Services to store and play back class recordings. By watching recordings in the Service, you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access. Any Google account that has authorised BrainX can revoke that access at any time from the Google security settings page. Once access is revoked, BrainX can no longer upload to or read from that account.
Deleting recordings. To have a class recording that includes you or your child removed, email info@learnwithbrainx.com with the class name and date. We will delete the video from YouTube and remove its stored YouTube data from our systems within 30 days.
We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes (for example fee records). You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing info@learnwithbrainx.com from your registered email address. We will action deletion requests within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep.
All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Access to personal data is restricted by role, and passwords are stored only as salted hashes. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard measures.
BrainX serves families in more than one country (including the UAE and India). Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country; wherever it is processed, it is protected as described in this policy.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below — we will respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
